Home!

I got home yesterday (Monday) afternoon. Yippee! The Plan, as discussed a bit in yesterday’s post, is to heal up a bit from this surgery before beginning systemic chemotherapy. After the chemo will be another surgery with the HIPEC this time.

I’m feeling quite weak still, so not able to do much around the house. Mark’s being a huge help, though, so… yay Mark! I’ll write more as I get a bit more energy.

  1. My offer to come and sit with you still stands. Just email, call, or text and I’ll be on my way. And if you need ANYTHING, just name it and I’ll deliver.

  3. Thanks for the offer, Linn! I’ll definitely let you know! It looks like Mark’s probably going to telecommute for the rest of the week, so I’m keeping him busy running and fetching. :-) It was so nice to spend time with you on Sunday. Thanks again for the visit.

  5. So glad you are home! (and I see a kitteh is standing guard by your shoulder-as he should). Please know I echo Linn’s offer; if there is anything you need, please let me know. This week I’m in town; for the next several after that I will be traveling quite a bit, assuming my stamina holds out.

  7. So glad to hear that you are home. I know it’s so much more comfortable than the hospital.

  9. “…not able to do much around the house”….??? i should hope not! how tough are you trying to be? (obviously, you ARE pretty tough as it is, but-) hey, you had some major type surgery. my advice is: milk it for all it is worth! seriously, all you really need to be concerned with is you, and what you need to get better. i am pretty sure mark isn’t too put out by having to do some housework. glad to see you are home! hang in- i know this is going to be a longer process than you thought, but just hang in.

  13. Glad you are home but what a complicated matter you are dealing with. Guess the important thing is that it can be dealt with! No housework!! Your place is so tidy that you can always eat off your floors anyway!
Looking forward to seeing you in September. Will try to order Indian Summer!
